DKSRA Hosts DOAJ Indexing Assistance Workshop Batch 1

Bogor, February 18, 2025 – The Directorate of Strategic Studies and Academic Reputation (DKSRA) successfully held the DOAJ Indexing Assistance Workshop Batch 1 on February 18, 2025. This initiative aims to increase the number of scientific journals indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), thereby enhancing the visibility and credibility of Indonesian academic publications.

The workshop featured Dr. drh. Kusdiantoro Mohamad, M.Si as the keynote speaker and was attended by several journal managers from IPB University. The session covered essential concepts of DOAJ indexing, along with practical techniques for journal managers to successfully submit their publications for inclusion in DOAJ.

Following the success of Batch 1, DKSRA plans to continue this initiative with upcoming batches, ensuring that more scientific journals meet DOAJ standards. This workshop underscores DKSRA’s strong commitment to supporting the development of high-quality, internationally recognized scientific journals, while promoting open access in academic publishing.
